A documented source used to build and check Hoya Library records. This page explains what the source is, what it contributes, and where its limits remain.
This source record is live while its research review continues. Bibliographic details and interpretations may change as the evidence is checked.
Citation
Simone Merdon-Bennack and Uwe Merdon (site text attribution; page byline unverified). Undated text; native platform metadata2020-03-11;captured2026-10-21. pp. Complete eleven-bullet naming list and final Borneo comparison caption.
Simone’s Hoyas lists cultivation names for plants placed under Hoya lacunosa, including Malaysia and Borneo together. The closing comparison caption also uses Borneo.
Our source review covers the complete eleven-bullet naming section and that final caption. Its names and grower statements are recorded as source testimony. They do not authenticate a cultivar, establish a wild collection locality, or connect a living plant to an accession.
The page’s other taxonomy, herbarium records and medicinal statements, and all linked works, remain outside this extraction. No source photographs are reproduced. Site text attribution is to Simone Merdon-Bennack and Uwe Merdon; the individual page byline has not been established.
In the first naming bullet, the compilation records Pink Flower under lacunosa and suggests Hoya pusilla Rintz as a possible identity. This is the writer’s conjecture. The entry gives no accession or voucher connecting that suggestion to a traceable plant.

How do we know this?
Hoya Library separates a source from the claims made from it. Citation details identify the publication; linked findings and treatments show how it is being used; archive notes state what has actually been checked. Corrections and stronger evidence can therefore be added without hiding earlier interpretations.
If you have a clearer scan, a missing page, or a correction to this citation, please share the source details and page reference with Hoya Library.
