Alexandre Gavrus (“Pakeha”) reports raising seedlings from a pod received from the Serres d’Auteuil in November 2006. The mother plant was labelled Hoya lacunosa ssp. pallidiflora. He records distributing seedlings and assigning AG06 codes.
Leaf differences led him to suspect a cross with a nearby Hoya litoralis. After examining flowers and pollinaria in 2008, he reconsidered that suspicion and interpreted the plants as lacunosa. The article records his changing assessment; it supplies no controlled pollination record or confirmed pollen parent.
The complete three-page article has been factually extracted. The full 35-page issue is preserved for private research; other articles are tracked as separate source records. Seedling methods and outcomes are attributed grower testimony, with no general care recommendation or present-day plant identity established.
Full 35-page original preserved; complete article pages 26–28 factually extracted; this source record covers that article only
How do we know this?
Hoya Library separates a source from the claims made from it. Citation details identify the publication; linked findings and treatments show how it is being used; archive notes state what has actually been checked. Corrections and stronger evidence can therefore be added without hiding earlier interpretations.
If you have a clearer scan, a missing page, or a correction to this citation, please share the source details and page reference with Hoya Library.
