Christine M. Burton’s Holliana account appears on printed pages 43–44, with a likeness on the issue cover. It describes a miniature, variegated carnosa with gently waved or slightly twisted leaves and discusses earlier labels.

Burton stated that she did not know the cultivar’s source. Her proposal to remove larger shoots was explicitly speculative and drew on experience with a different miniature plant. That separate plant’s measurements and history should not be transferred to Holliana.
