Citation

Christine M. Burton. 1 October 2005. pp. Physical PDF pages 3–4.

P. S. The Hoyan 4(4), dated 1 October 2005, attributes Sweet One and other named seedlings to Genevieve McDonald. Burton reports that McDonald collected seeds from plants in her Florida garden without knowing whether the seedlings were selfed or crossed (physical PDF page 3).

The Little Leaf passage credits McDonald and reports leaves approximately 1.5 by 1 inch (physical PDF page 4). These are approximate historical observations, not a measured range or proof of identity for a later plant. The following account of initially small leaves becoming very large concerns Little One, a separately named selection.

Little One is described as initially small-leaved but later producing leaves larger than most plants then called Hoya motoskei (physical PDF page 4). Burton supplies no dimensions for Little One. Measurements given for neighbouring Little Leaf, Sweet One and Cream One entries must not be transferred to it.

Burton describes Sweet One and Cream One as having leaves approximately 3.5 by 2 inches (physical PDF page 4). This is a historical grower report, not a measured range for every plant now carrying either name. The passage supplies no first naming date or authenticated propagation chain.
