What this source documents
The patent names Hoya carnosa Krinkle 8 and reports a mutation on material called Exotica, followed by stem-cutting propagation at Leesburg, Florida. It describes solid-green, dimpled leaves, a twining habit, flowers and comparisons with Exotica and Compacta. Leaf depressions usually number six to ten.
Reading the evidence
The description concerns nursery-grown specimens under stated conditions. It does not test an optimum care regimen or authenticate present-day plants. A Certificate of Correction dated 9 March 1971 supplies two insertions to the printed description.
Source locations
