A source-scoped coastal habitat where Hoya verticillata was recorded as a lithophyte on large stones at Tanjung Binga and Tanjung Tinggi.
Environment and variation
The surveyed beaches had white sand and large boulders. Two of five beach locations yielded Hoya records; the paper does not characterize vegetation or root-zone conditions at the occupied rocks.

What we still do not know
Mangroves were not surveyed because of access, and the authors reported no apparent Hoya there. Coastal exposure was not quantified, so no light, wind or salt-tolerance prescription is inferred.

Climate summaries describe their stated place, period, and method. They do not measure every plant’s microclimate. Maps are withheld until coordinate precision and sensitivity have been reviewed.
