Contribute or contact us

Start with what you know. Choose a reason and we’ll show the fields you need.

Already a member? to link your contribution and fill in your details. Guests are welcome too. Draft text is kept temporarily in this tab only when you choose Sign in. Selected files must be chosen again.

Rights, privacy, credit, or removal request

Tell us what you have and how you know it. Your submission enters a private review queue; it does not edit a public page.

For a rights, credit, or removal request, identify the affected page or image URL or Image ID here; explain your requested change above. For your own observation, explain when, where, and how it was made. A citation is welcome, but you can send a lead, request, or observation without one. Claims stay unverified until review.

Translation or regional terminology details (if applicable)

Use the source field above for a precise edition, page or section reference and link. An offer of expertise may leave the text fields blank.

Keep uncertainty, alternate meanings, and your own interpretation distinct from what the source says. Nothing is published as a reviewed translation from this form alone.

Do not disclose a sensitive wild locality.

This form collects material for private review under notice contribution-review-v1.0-2026-09-26. Submitting it does not grant public reproduction or reuse rights. Read rights and attribution.

Historical records and plant provenance

Old nursery catalogs, dated plant or flower photographs, original labels, accession records, and a known chain of ownership can help clarify Hoya names and history. Include the name as recorded, any dates, where the material came from, and what you know about the plant’s history. Use “Tell us about a source or lead” above for historical material, or “Contribute photos” for your photographs. Approximate locations are enough; omit private addresses and sensitive wild locations. Submissions enter private review.

What happens next

Research information and photos enter private review. A lead or a claim can be submitted without a complete citation; we keep uncertainty visible and verify it before changing a research page. Each photo receives its own identity, provenance, rights, credit, and privacy review. Receiving a submission does not mean accepting, incorporating, or publishing it.

Ordinary questions and suggestions go to a separate private contact inbox. They do not automatically become permanent research evidence.

Your credit and privacy

Members can sign in to link submissions to their account and fill in their contact details. Guests are welcome. Public credit is your choice; your private email and original files are not displayed. Public registration remains closed during our account pilot. Community and collections.

Submitting for private review does not grant public-display or reuse rights. Tell us about restrictions and omit sensitive wild coordinates or private addresses. For access, privacy, credit, or removal requests, choose the rights and privacy option above and identify the affected record or write “Not applicable — privacy request.” Rights and attribution.
