Rachel Colette Conroy. Regalis — HoyaCultivars.org cultivar account. 2024-04-13.

Name assessment

The registrar account accepts Hoya carnosa ‘Regalis’ as an established cultivar name and lists Hoya compacta ‘Regalis’ and Hoya carnosa ‘Compacta Regalis’ among its naming equivalents. It distinguishes Regalis from Marginalis and refers to the 1973 patent for their historical relationship and colour differences.

The account also reports a radiation attribution through the Mutant Variety Database. That attribution requires comparison with the underlying records and the different account in the later Cobia nursery interview; a category label is not a laboratory protocol.

Evidence boundary

This source supplies a naming assessment and attributed historical interpretation. It does not identify every plant sold under these labels as the same clone. A bounded extraction of the selected fields is retained; original HTML and a complete page archive are not retained. Photographs and sales-brochure images from the webpage are not reproduced.

Evidence scope and limits

Selected registrar name/background fields checked; bounded extraction retained. Original HTML and a complete page archive are not retained.
