Rahayu and colleagues documented Hoya multiflora at study site 6, one of six sampled habitat sites at Bodogol. The source describes this site as Altingia excelsa forest with 80.23% canopy cover.
Environment and variation
Source-defined site 6 within Bodogol Research Station; canopy cover 80.23% reported in Table 1; study sample numbers 42–48. The label describes dominant vegetation or site structure. It does not identify the host of each Hoya plant or directly measure light at its roots.

What we still do not know
The publication does not supply exact plot coordinates, sampling dates, plant-level host identity, seasonal canopy measurements, root-zone light or moisture, or a controlled cultivation comparison.
Research and evidence
Rahayu et al. (2010), Biodiversitas 11(4):187–193, p. 188 (PDF p. 2), Table 1, site 6. This is a study-site observation, not a species-wide habitat preference.
Climate summaries describe their stated place, period, and method. They do not measure every plant’s microclimate. Maps are withheld until coordinate precision and sensitivity have been reviewed.
